The collection of accessories and bridal jewellery are one of the important items required to decorate a bride on her wedding. The demand of bridal jewellery is quite high in the marriage markets. The ornament of a bride is considered as the most expensive and valuable one and generally manufactures by expensive metals such as gold or platinum and are also consisting of the precious stones including diamonds. Different varieties of bridal jewellery is available that varies from area to area. For instance, heavy and antiques bridal jewellery is commonly used in the countries such as India and Pakistan, while the western countries prefer having light bridal sets in their weddings.

The trend in bridal jewellery has been evolved over time. Many new and latest trends are becoming common in the bridal ornaments that range from the traditional looking items to the precious metals such as gold and diamonds. The prices of bridal jewellery are usually higher than any other accessories. This is because these are made of the precious metals such as gold, platinum and other precious stones including diamond, ruby etc., so they are considered as the most expensive sets. The cost of bridal jewellery varies and depends on different factors such as the time of buying, quality of item, brand name, complications of design and the current fashion.

It is also very important to maintain the jewellery as it is quite expensive and need special attention. The bridal jewellery made of gold needs to be cleaned regularly. Usually soap and water are used for cleaning them but certain types of solutions are also available in the market. It is important to scrub gently so that the jewellery does not get any damage or crack as gold is a soft metal and can be easily smashed or broken. So, it’s better to rinse the gold set smoothly and gently to avoid any risk. Also avoid exposure of the chemicals such as chlorine or strong acid, bases as they also weaken the gold jewellery. Platinum is also an important metal used in the bridal jewellery. It is good idea to store the platinum separate in a jewellery box or bag to avoid any scratch on them. Mild solution of soap and warm water can be used to clean the platinum bridal jewellery and gently rub with the cloth. Another option is to buy the cleaning agent of jewelllery to clean it without any damage.  So, the bridal jewellery is always remained as an important item in the wedding, though the designs are kept on changing with the trends. It requires a huge investment to purchase the bridal items so it needs special care to maintain them.
